Trustees and Patrons

CRAE is managed by a Council of Management which meets four times a year in London.

Council members serve for two years and are elected at our annual general meeting (AGM) in November of each year. Each member can serve for a maximum of six consecutive years. The Council can co-opt up to four members during the year. These co-opted members can only stay on the Council until the next annual general meeting when they will have to go through the formal election process to become a full member of the Council.

Any member of the Alliance can be nominated to serve on the Council. Membership is in an individual capacity, not as a representative of an organisation. The Council can have up to 27 members and four co-opted members. Up to six places are reserved for under 18s. Current Council members following the AGM in November 2009 are:

*Aged between 16 and 18 when elected.
