Join our children's advisory committee
The Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) is an alliance of organisations and individuals that work together to get the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child put fully into practice in England.
We are setting up an advisory committee for children and young people to help to lead CRAE’s work. The advisory committee will:
- Contribute to CRAE’s work and help us decide which children’s rights issues to work on
- Help to design children’s rights projects
- Advise us on running our young activists network
- Write articles for our newsletters, and get involved in running campaigns
- Be spokespeople for the media
- Get involved in fundraising.
To get involved, you need to be:
- Aged 17 or under
- Committed to children’s human rights
- Able to come to 3 meetings a year at CRAE in London (we will pay for travel expenses)
- Willing to do some work in-between meetings.
You must also be able to come to the first meeting of the advisory committee in London on Saturday 8 May 2010.
To apply, you will need to download and complete this form, including telling us why you want to join the advisory committee.
The closing date is Sunday 11 April 2010.
