November 2009 is children’s rights pledge month. A children’s rights pledge is a public promise made by a decision-maker to take action to improve children’s rights in their local area. Encouraging decision-makers to make a children’s rights pledge is another great way to mark the 20^th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
